This project was the basis for data collection involved in evaluating how women can acquire and advance in leadership roles within the field of anesthesiology. The findings were published in the world’s most renown academic anesthesia journal, Anesthesia & Analgesia, and the associated article, “Gender Gap: A Qualitative Study of Women and Leadership Acquisition in Anesthesiology” was highlighted as the cover and featured article of the January 2023 issue of Anesthesia & Analgesia.
